Geisinger Commonwealth students to hold eighth annual charity 3-on-3 basketball tournament

On Sunday, April 7, students from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine will host the eighth annual ALLEY-OOP FOR AUTISM three-on-three charity basketball tournament.

In addition to the tournament, the event features a three-point contest for $10. Winners of the three-on-three basketball tournament and the winner of the three-point contest will receive basketball tickets to a Philadelphia 76ers game.

All proceeds will benefit the Northeast Regional Autism Center at Friendship House in Scranton.

Check in for the tournament is 11:45 a.m. at Byron Recreational Complex at The University of Scranton. Tournament play begins at noon. Registration is $35 per team. Teams should be registered by March 17. Players must be 18 years of age or older. All participants receive a free T-shirt.
