LIFE Geisinger Lewistown to hold open house Sept. 10

DANVILLE, Pa. – LIFE Geisinger at 106 Derry Heights Blvd., Lewistown, will hold an open house Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 3 to 5 p.m.

People age 55 and older can continue to live independently with help from LIFE Geisinger, which offers medical oversight and care, transportation to medical appointments, home care including laundry, light housekeeping and grocery shopping, and an opportunity for socialization at LIFE Geisinger centers.

To qualify, participants must:

• Be 55 or older
• Meet eligibility criteria for nursing facility level of care
• Be able to live safely at home with services from LIFE Geisinger
• Live in one of the following counties: Columbia, Juniata, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill or Snyder
