Faculty Senate

The Faculty Senate is a representative body that serves as the collective voice of the college faculty on academic and administrative matters. The Faculty Senate provides advice, guidance, and input to the president, oversees the election of faculty representatives for standing committees, and disseminates information regarding the functions of Faculty Senate to the whole faculty. The Faculty Senate ensures that matters of significant import to the faculty are brought forth for discussion, vigorous debate, and decision in an orderly and timely fashion. The Faculty Senate reviews the qualifications of candidates for graduation and recommends their approval to the president.
